The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale.

Tamiya set allows you to build the model of Second World War German anti-tank PaK 40 L 46 gun and three crew members. The gun was on the basis of the Wehrmacht s anti-tank weapons at the final stage of the war. After its introduction to infantry service, troops finally get the gun capable to destroy Soviet T-34 tanks.

The set is great for creating or diversifying dioramas. There are 2 frames with plastic parts of the cannon and elements of the service figures in the box.

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Paints suggested by the manufacturer for the best effects:

The gun:

  • Tamiya XF-63 or spray TS-4 (cannon, ammunition boxes, Panzergrau color)
  • Tamiya XF-60 or spray TS-3 (cannon, color Dunkelgelb)
  • Tamiya XF-64 or TS-1 spray (brown camouflage, shovel spade)
  • Tamiya XF-61 or spray TS-2 (green camouflage)
  • Tamiya XF-56 (metal shovel parts)
